BUILT BY AN
ELECTRICIAN.
FOR ELECTRICIANS.

Master Electrician was built by a working IBEW electrician who got tired of pulling up a browser mid-job just to look up a code question or run a voltage drop calc.

Every calculator uses fractional inch precision because that's how we work. Every reference is field-tested. The AI assistant is extensively trained on electrical code so you get reliable answers fast.

This isn't built by a software company that hired an electrician as a consultant. It's built by someone who runs conduit every day.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Master Electrician App free?
Yes. The Apprentice tier is free and includes 2 AI scans per day, all 17 calculators, and the full reference library. Paid tiers add more daily scans and nothing else.
What electrical codes does the app cover?
The code assistant is trained on the 2017, 2020 and 2023 editions of the National Electrical Code, which covers what the large majority of US jurisdictions enforce today. The 2026 edition was published in October 2025 but only a small number of states have adopted it so far. Always confirm the adopted edition with your AHJ before relying on any reference.
Does the app include the full NEC code text?
No, and be careful of any app that claims to. NFPA holds the copyright to the National Electrical Code and licenses it narrowly. This app provides guidance, explanations, calculators and reference tables. For the official text, use the printed code book or NFPA's own read-only access.
Is the app available on both iOS and Android?
Yes, on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Do the calculators work offline?
Yes. All 17 calculators and the reference library work without a connection, which matters in basements, mechanical rooms and steel buildings.
